On our way along the Trans-Siberian line we stopped in Krasnoufimsk, a town in the southern Ural mountains. Here we met Guzel who with tenacity, professionalism and passion is trying to revive a village using local people, knowledge and skills.
We stayed with her for a couple of days on our way to Vladivostok. You can find the whole trip at this link. Guzel produces jams, her father makes honey using only natural antibiotics produced from field herbs. The village ladies bring her fruit berries and collect wild herbs which are then dehydrated for the production of tea and herbal teas.
We enter the world of Malyi Turysh where it all started with a simple request: we need a place to dance!
